Responsibilities

As a Copywriter, job duties include:

• Develop and write engaging, persuasive copy for email marketing and online content on e-tail platforms, e-commerce websites, including product descriptions, landing pages, and promotional materials.
• Craft compelling email marketing content designed to increase customer engagement, retention, and drive clear calls to action.
• Work with the marketing team to understand campaign objectives, ensuring all copy aligns with brand guidelines and messaging.
• Conduct research with key stakeholders on target audiences, industry trends, and the competitive landscape to create effective content aligned with strategies.
• Partner with the SEO lead to optimize content for improved search engine rankings, driving organic traffic to the website.
• Edit and proofread all content for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.

Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in copywriting, especially within email communication and digital content for e-commerce.
• Comprehensive portfolio demonstrating expertise in writing for commerce websites and email marketing.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in SEO best practices, including experience with keyword research tools and techniques.
