Responsibilities

As a Buyer, job duties include:

• Ensure all necessary information, documentation, and signatures are included in CAPEX project requisitions.
• Issue purchase orders to vendors based on approved requisitions and confirm expected delivery dates with suppliers.
• Resolve any issues related to orders, including shipment errors, damaged goods, and supplier concerns.
• Work with vendors to ensure on-time delivery of goods, and communicate any delays or early deliveries to project leads.
• Keep project leads updated on open orders and delivery statuses, tracking equipment orders through delivery using PMP or the CAPEX Equipment Tracker.
• Assemble and issue Requests for Proposals (RFPs), manage commercial agreements (POs), and prepare contracts for issuance.

Skills:

• 3 +years of experience in procurement, with a focus on CAPEX project procurement.
• Proficiency in operational procurement and the requisition-to-purchase process.
• Previous experience working with procurement systems, including SAP and SharePoint.
• Proactive in identifying and addressing procurement challenges and opportunities for improvement.
