National company is expanding and has immediate openings for a Data Center Technician, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Work with cutting edge technology in a fast paced environment where you will be challenged each day. This position will involve a range of responsibilities including installation of servers, network switches, and other hardware within a Datacenter. Basic troubleshooting and debug activities, installation of complex systems, and other activities as needed. The right canidate will have an opportunity to learn new skills while executing in a professional and freindly work environment. 

salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Install Servers and equipment into computer racks, lifting up to 50lbs
  
  
• Move, prep and prepare material for installation, while coordinating with end customer
  
  
• Ability to cable/connect Ethernet, SAS, fiber channel and power wiring/cabling
  
  
• Trouble shooting of systems, working with end users
  
  
• Follow written and verbal instructions and cable diagrams 
  
  
• Test systems at various steps in the manufacturing process to meet product specifications
  
  
• Perform firmware upgrades and track changes that have been completed
  
  
• Updates production records and test results by entering data accurately into databases
  
  

The successful candidate will have:

• Associates Degree or experience
• Good Computer skills
• Experience working in Linux enviroment helpful
• Time Managemnet skills and ability to work independently
• Management and supervisory experience helpful

This is an immediate, Full Time position in Colorado Springs, Colorado with complete compensation package.
