Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable (AP):
- Process invoices, purchase orders, and vendor payments.
- Ensure proper coding and compliance with construction job cost accounting standards.
- Reconcile AP records with vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Prepare and send invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Post cash receipts and maintain accurate AR records.
- Payroll:
- Process weekly or bi-weekly payroll for all employees.
- Verify timecards, track hours worked, and ensure compliance with payroll regulations.
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records, including deductions and benefits.
- Job Costing:
- Assist with tracking costs for various construction projects.
- Input and maintain data related to job budgets, expenses, and change orders.
- Reconciliations & Reporting:
- Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations.
- Assist with preparing financial reports for management and project teams.
- Administrative Support:
- Maintain organized financial records, contracts, and documents.
- Provide general support to the accounting team and project managers as needed.
