Responsibilities

• General Accounting:
  
  
  • Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank and credit card statements.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Financial Reporting:
  
  
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure compliance with GAAP.
  • Assist in generating reports for management to support decision-making.
• Accounts Payable & Receivable:
  
  
  • Support the AP/AR team with invoice processing, payment approvals, and cash applications as needed.
  • Assist with collections and ensure accurate posting of payments.
• Budgeting & Forecasting:
  
  
  • Assist with preparing budgets and forecasts to support financial planning.
  • Track and analyze variances to ensure budget compliance.
• Compliance & Audits:
  
  
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.
• Special Projects:
  
  
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ad hoc accounting and finance projects.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to their implementation.
