Responsibilities
- Oversees receiving and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing policies and procedures related to programs, operations, and personnel.
- Provides leadership in the development of staff and fosters cross-functional collaboration, applying HR-related principles.
- Manages daily operations of subordinates to ensure company and departmental goals and objectives are met.
- Ensures that project or department milestones and goals are achieved, while adhering to approved budgets.
- Regularly reports to Upper Management on the progress of goals, objectives, and actions taken to meet them.
- Handles procurement and supply chain management responsibilities.
- Utilizes ERP and Microsoft systems to ensure accurate data maintenance.
- Monitors customer shipment status daily and collaborates with Planning, Shipping, and Manufacturing teams to ensure timely deliveries.
- Engages with customers and vendors to address concerns regarding forecasting, stable orders, back orders, and recovery.
- Enforces workplace safety rules and other policies outlined in the company handbook.
- Implements and meets cost-saving goals in alignment with targets set by Upper Management.
- Develops goals and conducts annual performance reviews for PC associates reporting to this position.
- Leads efforts to establish and maintain a safe work environment.
- Proactively identifies and addresses unsafe behaviors and conditions.
