Our client is a leader in aerospace innovation, designing and manufacturing cutting-edge components for commercial, defense, and space applications. We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to the development of high-performance aerospace systems.  Both entry level candidates fresh out of school as well as expereinced candidates are encouraged to apply. 

salary: $70,000 - $120,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for aerospace applications.
• Create 3D models and detailed engineering drawings using CAD software (Siemens NX, CATIA, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Conduct structural, thermal, and stress analyses to ensure designs meet performance and safety standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing and quality engineers, to optimize designs for production.
• Perform tolerance analysis and material selection for high-performance aerospace components.
• Support prototype development, testing, and validation of designs.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards such as AS9100, FAA, and NASA requirements.
