Responsibilities

• Die and Tooling Development: Design and build new dies and tooling for Nilson and/or Baird Fourslide and Multislide machines.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair existing dies and tooling to enhance product quality, improve efficiency, and minimize downtime.
• Set-up and Operation: Setup and operate Fourslide machines, as well as all tool room equipment. Experience with CNC Mills is highly preferred.
• Design and CAD Software: Utilize design software such as Key Creator, AutoCAD, or other relevant tools to assist in the design and fabrication of dies and tooling.
• Collaboration and Efficiency: Work closely with the team to streamline processes and continuously improve product quality and production timelines.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in tool and die making, with a specific focus on Fourslide tooling.
• Highly developed technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with industry-standard design software, including Key Creator, AutoCAD, or similar.
• Ability to independently set up Fourslide jobs and operate CNC equipment.
• Detail-oriented, with a focus on precision and quality in all aspects of tooling and production.
