We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Buyer with a solid background in hospitality to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sourcing high-quality products, optimizing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods essential to the client's food production operations.

salary: $28 - $30 per hour

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies while ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and pricing.
• Maintain relationships with existing suppliers while actively seeking new vendors to expand the supplier base and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and logistics to forecast demand, plan inventory levels, and ensure uninterrupted supply chain operations.
• Monitor market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes affecting food production to identify opportunities and risks.
• Analyze procurement data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
