What You’ll Do:
- Enforce policies and protect financial interests.
- Supervise and train assigned buyers.
- Source competitive quotes and negotiate pricing with vendors.
- Manage vendor relationships, ensure contract compliance, and oversee the purchasing cycle.
- Utilize SAP and EAM systems to maintain accurate records and track costs.
- Resolve discrepancies and ensure timely deliveries.
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in purchasing (industrial experience preferred).
- strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of SAP/EAM systems (preferred).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- C.P.M. or CPSM certification (a plus).

Responsibilities
- Enforce policies and procedures within the business activities to ensure that the financial interests of
- Titan America are protected.
- Train and supervise assigned buyers.
- Source and obtain competitive quoting for Titan America’s Florida Business Unit’s Pennsuco plant.
- Review bid proposals and negotiate pricing within budgetary limitations and scope of authority.
- Evaluate quoting, prepare analysis and recommend vendor selection. Generate and issue purchase
- orders documenting pricing, deliveries, taxes and extraneous charges.
- Discuss defects or unacceptable goods, services, deliveries, quality or performances with vendors,
- stakeholders and supervisor.
- Create and develop strategic partnerships with suppliers to ensure that goals and objectives are
- achieved.
- Evaluate capabilities of potential suppliers, explore references and identify current and potential
- strengths and weaknesses.
- Develop and maintain vendor relations to include eligibility of vendor’s documentation, in particular, as it
- relates to insurance/safety compliance.
- Responsible for bidding contracts, negotiating favorable terms and establishing sound interaction
- between internal and external customers.
- Track backlog and overdue deliveries.
