Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 1-3 years in the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of cost accounting and general financial principles.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (Dynamics/NAV a plus).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Create and maintain credit history files.
- Manage the collection efforts/calls for accounts receivable portfolio.
- Document daily collections activity.
- Perform account/payment reconciliations.
- Respond to credit inquiries from external and internal clients.
- Identify delinquent accounts requiring external collection efforts.
- Identify bad debt or financial exposure.
- Prepares month-end journal entries for financial statements.
- Posting cash transactions, applying customer payments, vendor set-up and weekly payment runs.
- Assign account numbers to purchase requisitions/Purchase Order and review final against purchase order
- and quote.
- Perform general accounting duties.
- Performs account analysis and reconciliation including bank statements and intercompany general ledger
- accounts.
- Works closely with Supply Chain to ensure a current GRIR account.
- Posts monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals.
- Perform credit and collections analyst duties.
