A client of ours in the manufacturing industry located in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their Production Control department.  This position is responsible for supporting the PC department in gathering and entering data and preparing various reports.  Someone with data entry and accounting experience is ideal.  This position is a full-time hybrid opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package.  

salary: $32,000 - $38,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

• Responsible for collecting and analyzing inbound freight forwarder invoices and entering AP/AR data (specific to the PC Department).
• Perform document matching and follow up with other departments to gather any missing information as necessary.
• Collaborate with the Delivery, Logistics, Accounting, and Asia/Mexico PC teams to consolidate data and estimate potential scrap or air expedite costs.
• Analyze data to support departmental collection efforts.
• Monitor vehicle buildout status (timing, obsolescence) in coordination with GPP Planners, providing updates to management and relevant departments on a regular basis.
• Work closely with internal departments (Delivery, QA, Warehouse Operations) to communicate updates on new or past model parts and design changes.
• Maintain and update all internal tracking documentation.
