Responsibilities
Your Role:
The Strategic Deployment & Realization (SD&R) intern will require the ability to partner with internal customers to identify and drive high-impact continuous improvement efforts in support of department priorities and strategies. the Intern will utilize Lean and Six Sigma or Project Management tools to create Internal or External communication (could include but not limited to creating dashboards, working with DOMO, Smartsheet, etc.), assist in data tracking and observations, etc. This position is a hybrid position based in Rockville, MD. Hours can be coordinated with the hiring manager.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Data entry
- Working with Smartsheet
- Create graphs/charts-design dashboards
- Attend L&SS training White Belt
- Interpret data
- Draft effective internal and external communication
- Attend meeting and present projects
- Current Sophomore, Junior or Senior working towards an undergraduate degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or related degree
- Proactive & organized
- strong communicator and collaborative
- Effective working as part of a team
- Tech savvy (MS Office- Excel, or any other software such as Smartsheet)
- Good interpersonal skills
- strong oral & written communication skills and able to present to stakeholders or leadership
- Willingness to learn
