Responsibilities
Review time records for weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing and contact and obtain supervisor approval for revisions of discrepancies such as missed time, missed punches, etc. • Open and close payroll periods in accordance with company schedules.
• Print and distribute daily labor logs to supervisors for review and approval.
• Process approved labor logs, ensuring accurate labor transfers.
• Verify employee time records, including timesheets, vacation, and sick leave, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws.
• Maintain and update employee payroll records, including personal information, tax withholding details, and benefit deductions.
• Process payroll with careful attention to new hires, terminations, promotions, and changes in pay rates.
• Collaborate with HR and Accounting departments to resolve payroll discrepancies or issues. • Process garnishment requests promptly and notify affected employees.
• Address employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, and deductions in a timely manner. • Participate in updates and improvements to the payroll system, as necessary.
• Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, PSL and PTO balances. • Perform other payroll-related duties and administrative tasks as required.
• Distribute paychecks to employees.
• Other duties as assigned.
