Responsibilities
What you will be doing:
- Collection of delinquent accounts in accordance with policies and procedures. You will be working with 1st party clients.
- Administration of payment plans on delinquent accounts.
- Negotiate settlements in accordance with company policy.
- Review and educate customers on contract details.
- Provide customer complaint resolution.
- Performance of Skip Tracing duties on customers that have relocated.
- Develop positive relationships and goodwill with internal and external customers.
- Make recommendations for process improvement when directed and handles special projects as assigned.
The right candidate will have:
- 3+ years in a Collections role, business skills in a collection/customer service environment with strong emphasis in an automated calling center.
- Proficient in the use of a computer and experience in an ACD environment. Dialer experience is a huge plus.
- FDCPA knowledge.
- Excellent Customer Service and Negotiation skills are a plus.
- Must maintain attention to detail and have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be well organized, multi-task and people oriented.
- Must be a self-starter and be able to work on your own.
- Must be able to stand, stoop, and lift up to 20 lbs.
