The Chemistry Technician will be responsible for conducting chemical tests, analyses, and experiments with various precious metals, including gold, silver, platinum, and other rare elements. This role requires an understanding of chemistry principles, lab safety, and the technical expertise necessary to handle precious materials in accordance with industry standards.

salary: $37,500 - $42,500 per year

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical analysis and testing on various precious metals, ensuring accurate results.
• Utilize advanced laboratory equipment to conduct experiments and determine the purity and quality of metals.
• Maintain proper documentation of results, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Prepare and process samples for further analysis and refinement.
• Assist in the development and improvement of laboratory procedures for testing precious metals.
• Ensure laboratory safety protocols are adhered to, including the handling and disposal of chemicals and metals.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, scientists, and other technicians to solve complex technical challenges.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and in good working condition.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to laboratory instruments.
