Responsibilities
- Administer the company’s health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance programs
- Manage employee enrollment, eligibility, and claims for benefits programs
- Communicate benefits information effectively to employees, addressing inquiries and concerns
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits-related questions
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of benefits regulations and changes to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies
- Work with external vendors and carriers to manage relationships and resolve issues
- Conduct benefits audits to ensure data accuracy and identify any discrepancies
- Prepare benefits reports for leadership, analyzing trends and providing recommendations
- Assist with open enrollment, including preparing materials, conducting informational sessions, and ensuring smooth processing of changes
- Support employees with leave administration, including FMLA, short-term disability, and other leave programs
- Participate in the development of wellness programs and initiatives to promote employee health and well-being
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of benefits transactions, including enrollments, terminations, and changes
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information in compliance with privacy regulations
