Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while maintaining quality standards
- Research and develop new products and administer supplied formulas
- Provide technical leadership in formulation development and process improvement
- Develop risk mitigation strategies to ensure product stability and reliability
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet customer requirements
- Oversee regulatory, quality, compliance, and product development teams
- Lead and mentor a team, handling hiring, training, performance management, and process improvement
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- 5-10 years of experience in a similar role (or equivalent education & experience)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with quality management, regulatory compliance, and product formulation
- Proficiency in data analysis, mathematical concepts, and laboratory instrumentation
- Leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Spanish is a plus
