Do you have an interest in investments as well as a background in banking/finance operations?  Do you love working with a large amount of data, validating and reconciling it, and ensuring 100% accuracy?  Each day you will pull reports, confirm the data feeds came in accurately and were executed, and research and problem solve out of balance items. The Alternative Investment Operations Specialist role is made for the detail oriented, system savvy, investment enthusiast, and task oriented professional.  Three days will be in office and two days will be working from home.  

salary: $30 - $33 per hour

Responsibilities

• Process pre-fill subscription agreements for clients related to various alternative and separately managed investments
• Manage capital calls by researching the various calls that are received
• Prepare the trades that will need to be placed on behalf of clients to meet their private equity or hedge fund capital calls
• Reconcile trades daily to ensure all systems balance
• Audit internal systems to make sure all daily loads of trade information were executed
• Set up new clients in the system of record
• Organize and load all legacy clients to a new CRM
• Follow laid out procedures to adhere to compliance
• Collect banking information from clients
• Handle confidential information in adherence to the company's rules and regulations
• Mitigate risk 
• Assist with a handful of special projects
