Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate raw material purchases with approved suppliers.
- Setup leveraged supplier agreements when possible.
- Contact customer’s and supplier’s weekly to check availability of materials.
- Issue Purchase Orders based on material demands for all raw materials.
- Manage Req to Pay process insuring accurate month end reconciliation with accounting department.
- Setup blanket PO’s based on availability of materials and supplies to avoid stock out.
- Coordinate with approved brokers on disposition of obsolete materials.
- Effectively communicate both written and verbally with team members, coworkers, and management.
- Be well organized.
- Plan ahead and keep from having material or supply outages.
- Work well with team and be able to complete tasks as assigned.
- Able to use computer and its programs.
- Ability to do data entry.
- Possess negotiating skills to ensure low cost materials and supplies.
- 10+ years of supply chain management.
- 10+ years of purchasing management.
