About the Role: Join our team as a Finance Manager and play a crucial role in steering the financial direction of a leading food manufacturing facility. Located in San Antonio, this position offers the opportunity to engage directly with senior management and various teams to enhance operational efficiency and profitability. You will be responsible for comprehensive financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and providing actionable financial insights that drive strategic decisions. A key part of your role will be to tell the story behind the numbers, transforming complex data sets into clear, persuasive narratives that inform and drive business strategy.
salary: $105,000 - $120,000 per year

Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly financial closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial matters.
- Implement and oversee financial systems that enhance plant operations and financial performance.
- Conduct thorough financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support business objectives.
- Analyze financial data, identifying trends and variances, and provide detailed reports and projections.
- Craft compelling stories from complex data to highlight key insights and guide strategic business decisions.
- Collaborate with operations, commercial, and procurement departments to optimize performance and profitability.
- Develop and maintain standard costing systems and ensure financial best practices are shared across the organization.
- Serve as a key financial advisor and partner to plant management, enhancing financial understanding and decision-making across the facility.
