Responsibilities
Accounting:
- Serve as the subject matter expert on key accounting areas, working directly with business leadership to assess the financial impact of contracts and changes in business practices.
- Compile key financial data for distribution across the organization.
- Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, utilizing financial systems and spreadsheet models while collaborating with department heads and senior management.
- Conduct variance analysis, identify key performance drivers, and provide insightful commentary on financial results.
- Participate in month-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance explanations, and preparation of supporting financial schedules.
- Leverage operational and financial data to provide analytical support and insights for senior leadership to evaluate strategic initiatives and investment opportunities.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analyses and modeling to aid in decision-making and drive business growth.
- Develop and maintain ledgers, financial models, and dashboards to track financial metrics.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operational reports for senior management, including visual presentations to highlight key trends.
