Responsibilities
As a Human Resources Generalist, job duties include:
- Act as a liaison for the Work Comp process, ensuring compliance and proper administration.
- Coordinate various manpower job assignments based on contractual guidelines and business requirements.
- Ensure employees are placed in appropriate wage job assignments based on their physical qualifications.
- Assist with the hiring process and support the job bidding process for production employees.
- Scan and convert paper documents into digital storage to streamline record-keeping.
- Aid in the scheduling of required training for wage employees to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Assist with delivering analyses of HR data and contribute to the creation of HR insights that address business needs and enhance employee engagement.
- 2+ years working in a Human Resources Generalist role in a nationwide organization.
- Experience or understanding of payroll processing, data input, and financial reconciliation.
- Proficiency in standard office software, including document preparation and data management applications.
- Demonstrated skills in Excel for data analysis, reporting, and managing HR records.
