Responsibilities
- Prepares budgets for manufacturing and maintenance expenses.
- Ensures daily production schedules are met.
- Oversees and guides team leaders and members daily.
- Continuously monitors efficiency and scrap rates, implementing effective countermeasures to manage factory operations and meet KPI targets.
- Collaborates with HR to manage and support the site’s Safety Program and addresses safety concerns and inquiries raised by management and employees.
- Coaches and counsels employees per the Employee Handbook to maintain consistency in disciplinary actions and conducts evaluations.
- Participates in interviews and makes recommendations for hiring decisions.
- Recommends training needs and suggests personnel or position changes.
- Supports and upholds standards as per ISO (14001 & 9001) and TS manuals.
- Participates in management reviews and decision-making processes for both ISO (14001 & 9001) and TS standards.
- Generates and updates Work Order (WO) Excel work order packages.
- Works with the Engineering team to issue tooling purchase orders (POs).
- Submits manufacturing forecasts to site leadership for planning and budgeting purposes.
- Responsible for submitting JSOX documentation to auditors.
- Supports QA initiatives and responds to QPR requests.
- Manages raw material and finished goods cycle counts to meet KPI targets.
- Monitors finished goods customer build-outs and holds staff accountable for KPI performance.
- Performs physical inventory counts and month-end closing adjustments.
