Do you have a passion for investment banking operations?  Are you desiring to take your large corporate brokerage and trust operations experience and work within a company where you are a "big fish in a smaller pond"?  You will be the team member accountable for the pension and tax services function and expand your scope of accountabilities with the Contract for Deeds, Rent Payments, and Promissory Notes Payments responsibilities.  This is an in-office role where you interact with the VP of Trust Operations daily and also have interaction with the CFO.  The company values their employees and pays for their parking monthly!  It is starting as a contract role.  The chosen employee who exceeds expectations will have the opportunity to transition to a permanent team member!

Responsibilities

• Process incoming pension payments
• Update, monitor, and manage pension participant changes
• Reconcile and balance ledgers on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Prepare pension tax withholdings
• Utilize your intermediate to advanced Excel to update and manage federal and state taxes withheld for employee benefit distributions
• Prepare, process, and file quarterly and annual tax reporting (1099 series, 5498, 1098 forms) to the IRS and various states
• Generate and monitor customer statements 
• Review and audit customer statements for accuracy
• Scan documents daily into the company's database repository
• Manage Contract for Deeds, Rent Payments, and Promissory Notes; which includes making payments, reconciling balancing issues, and maintaining reporting
• Take on ad-hoc projects as requested by the VP of Trust Operations or the CFO
