Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the production workforce, ensuring operational efficiency and high performance.
• Review, approve, and distribute shop drawings to the production team for execution.
• Collaborate with executives to establish production priorities and develop effective schedules.
• Drive workforce productivity and cost-efficiency to meet production goals.
• Implement and support Lean Manufacturing principles in a low-volume, high-mix production environment, contributing to CSF’s continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze operations and recommend improvements to enhance performance and workflow efficiency.
• Optimize resource allocation to maximize production output and minimize waste.
• Ensure and enforce workplace safety standards to maintain a secure and compliant environment.
• Uphold company policies and procedures, fostering accountability and consistency.
• Monitor and evaluate employee performance, providing timely feedback and coaching for development.
• Identify and report quality control issues, ensuring accuracy and precision in production.
• Oversee steel deliveries, ensuring timely receipt and proper handling of materials.
• Utilize and support FabSuite Steel Management software for efficient workflow and data management.

The essential functions of this role include:

working in a smoke free environment

wearing steel toe shoes

working in a non-temperature controlled environment

manual lifting up to 50lbs

standing for 10 hours at one time

working weekends
