Responsibilities
- Perform daily AP transactions, including vendor reconcilations, payment processing, and internal payment processing
- Reconcile vendor/customer statements against internal records and ensure accuracy and correct payments are applied/processed
- Maintain accurate customer records and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner
- Assist Accounting Manager with general ledger maintenance, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with accounting standards
- Assist Accounting Manager with reconciling and maintaining sub-ledgers, ensuring they align with the general ledger
- Administration of the company’s P-Card program, ensuring compliance with internal policies
- Ensure all P-Card transactions are recorded correctly and timely in the general ledger
- Ensure all general ledger entries are supported by appropriate documentation
- Analyze and provide explanations for fluctuations
- Prepare Balance Sheet Account Reconciliations timely on a monthly basis including Receipts Goods Not Vouchered account, Corporate Credit Card Payable Account, and some various Cash Accounts
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of journal entries.
