As a Customer Care Advocate, you'll be at the heart of the action, managing inbound and outbound calls, emails, live chats, and faxes for residential, small business, and commercial & industrial (C&I) customers. You'll play a key role in helping customers navigate the energy market, guiding them through enrollment processes, and resolving issues quickly and effectively.

As a Customer Care Advocate job duties include:
- Handle all inbound calls, emails, and live chats for current and potential customers, delivering an engaging and professional customer service experience.
- Address billing, contract, and enrollment-related questions or concerns, offering clear and simple analyses of customer bills, usage, pricing, and delivery/energy breakdowns.
- Assist customers with various inquiries, ensuring full resolution and satisfaction.
- Conduct inter-departmental research to resolve more complex customer issues, escalating when necessary to the Team Lead and/or Care Director.
- Act as a gatekeeper for customer complaints, ensuring validity and monitoring complaints per the complaint management process.
- Collaborate with utilities to resolve customer issues, such as reducing deposit requests, billing/payment issues, meter reading concerns, and cancellations.
- 2+ years of customer service in a nationwide Energy or Utility Organization.
- Ability to read and interpret business and technical documents and communicate findings clearly to sales teams, customers, and colleagues.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Access for data analysis.
