Responsibilities
- Perform reconciliations for targeted accounts while implementing optimized solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Evaluate and analyze business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and leading the implementation of enhancements that yield quantifiable results.
- Provide hands-on, ongoing cross-functional end-user training to ensure effective adoption of IMO solutions.
- Act as a liaison between business teams and IT to support IMO integration projects.
- Stay up-to-date on new functionality within the IMO solutions and spearhead the deployment of enhancements across the organization.
- Prepare and present ad hoc reporting and analysis for management as required.
- Develop integrated test plans for new processes or changes to existing system configurations.
- Conduct regular quality checks (e.g., reconciliations, tasks, journals) to ensure compliance with established policies and standards.
- Contribute to the development of functional specifications for projects, ensuring configurations are well-defined, documented, and thoroughly tested.
- Promote cross-departmental teamwork and collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of accounting experience, with a focus on IMO solutions such as Transaction Matching, Journals, Accounts, Tasks, Variance, and Reporting.
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Experience with PeopleSoft is preferred.
- Advanced MS Excel skills
