- Bachelor’s Degree
- 3+ years in Accounting or Benefits Administration (union and non-union)
- Experience with Contracts, Plan Documents, SPDs, Union Agreements, and invoice reconciliation
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and present findings to management
- Knowledge of finance practices, Benefits Administration, and billing reconciliation
- Creating data queries
- Familiar with SAP HRIS systems preferred)

Responsibilities
- Manage accounting and administration for union and non-union medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA, HSA, and COBRA benefits
- Reconcile benefit payments to the General Ledger and track pending adjustments for resolution by the next reporting period. Communicate discrepancies with relevant departments
- Ensure weekly vendor interfaces are sent/received and validate error reports. Update vendor website with necessary adjustments
- Prepare and reconcile COBRA payments, create expense documents by Cost Center, and audit the COBRA vendor for timely notices
- Lead and coordinate benefit audits (union and non-union), gathering data, analyzing discrepancies, and recommending corrective actions
- Use reporting tools to generate adhoc reports, payroll reports, and YTD analysis on FSA/HSA Plans
- Ensure HRIS system compliance with benefit plans, providing business requirements and testing for accurate plan administration.
- Address and resolve inquiries related to benefits using plan documents and related materials
- Assist with billing rate updates, Annual Enrollment, and integrations like mergers and union implementations
