Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and classify inbound faxes, ensuring document accuracy and proper labeling.
- Determine appropriate turnaround times based on Service Level Agreement (SLA) grids.
- Monitor and address failed fax transmissions, coordinating resends as needed.
- Manage a shared email inbox, retrieving and attaching clinical documents for review.
- Assist with additional administrative tasks as required.
- Meet established performance objectives and key results.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of experience in a managed care, insurance, or hospital medical management setting.
- Familiarity with health insurance (Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid) and medical records.
- Understanding of medical coding systems (CPT/HCPCS).
- strong computer proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote) and ability to work in a remote environment.
- Ability to work independently with keen attention to detail.
- Cable or fiber internet connection required (Ethernet connection only; no Wi-Fi, 4G, 5G, LTE, or satellite).
