Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve service issues and ensure client satisfaction by working with carriers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Process carrier bills, audits, and manage enrollments, terminations, and coverage changes.
- Review plan documents (contracts, SBCs, marketing materials) for accuracy.
- Prepare clients for annual renewals and assist with the RFP process.
- Manage renewals and implementations according to the calendar.
- Help update technology platforms for benefits enrollments and payroll deductions.
- Handle client supply requests for open enrollment and new hire meetings.
- Assist with preparing meeting materials and resolving claims.
- Gain knowledge in compliance topics like ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, 5500s, and healthcare reform.
- Keep records organized per CRM protocols and participate in industry training.
- Act as a back-up for other Account Managers.
- High school diploma (or equivalent) required; college degree preferred.
- Prior customer service experience in the insurance industry.
- Proficient in Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and internet-based programs.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and a team player with a client-focused approach.
