Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day client servicing and administrative support to senior managers and consultants.
- Act as a liaison between clients and carriers, handling communications via phone and email.
- Manage client onboarding and implementation using a CRM system.
- Prepare client communication materials, including benefit booklets, flyers, and summaries.
- Assist in preparing materials for client meetings, such as contact sheets and other documentation.
- Coordinate open enrollment and new hire communications, including managing supply requests and coordinating shipments.
- Request, review, and track client plan documents (SPDs, contracts, booklets, etc.).
- Support enrollment and termination processing with carriers as needed.
- Assist with billing discrepancies and employee issues in collaboration with senior managers.
- Gain exposure to compliance topics such as ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, 5500s, and healthcare reform.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Prior customer service experience; insurance industry knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency in Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and internet-based programs.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and ability to self-check work.
- Enthusiastic, adaptable, and a team player willing to learn and grow in the benefits industry.
