Responsibilities

• Oversee cost accounting for the U.S., Asian, and Australian entities, ensuring compliance with group guidelines and standards.
• Prepare accurate and timely cost reports and variance analyses for functional managers.
• Analyze and report on manufacturing variances and cost rates monthly, providing recommendations for improvements.
• Collaborate with site operations to develop, review, and improve standard costs and product cost performance.
• Ensure accurate cost accounting and cost center allocations within the ERP system, making adjustments based on business changes.
• Analyze costs across the value chain to support cost-effective global sourcing decisions.
• Review and assess capital budgeting and project proposals to ensure sound investment decisions and return on investment.
• Prepare monthly margin analyses for production in the U.S. and sales in Asia and Australia.
• Ensure intercompany account reconciliation between U.S., Asian, and Australian entities.
• Independently develop ad-hoc analyses as required.
• Optimize and adapt reporting to align with changes in the business.
• Coordinate and support the budget and forecast process for costs, margins, and fixed assets.
