part time vendor relations coordinator.

Randstad is seeking a proactive and organized individual to join our client's team as a Vendor Relations Coordinator. This role is perfect for someone who is interested in working with suppliers, building and maintaining relationships, and gaining exposure to a dynamic industry. The position offers flexibility with 12-24 hours per week, and once hired the additional perk for a spot bonus for every vendor account secured.

salary: $17.99 - $18 per hour

Responsibilities

Vendor Communication & Relationship Building:

• Reach out to vendors regularly to maintain and nurture relationships.
• Provide a list of all vendors contacted and document conversations, including the contacts made during calls.
• Perform monthly or as-needed check-in calls with vendors to ensure smooth communication and address any concerns.
• Secure and maintain relationships with vendors, aiming for long-term partnerships.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of all vendor interactions, accounts secured, and relevant notes in the system.
• Provide regular updates on vendor statuses, including secured accounts and ongoing communications.

Support to Account Growth:

• Assist in the expansion of the company’s supplier network by securing new accounts.
• Engage in periodic training on the industry, terminology, and processes to ensure familiarity with the business.
