This role requires a keen eye for detail and strong problem-solving abilities to ensure timely and accurate claims processing. The position starts with onsite training before transitioning to a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Handle accounts receivable follow-up, ensuring timely resolution and collection of outstanding balances.
- Investigate and resolve denied, delayed, or underpaid insurance claims.
- Analyze accounts and take appropriate actions to facilitate claim payments.
- Process account adjustments and submit appeals with proper documentation.
- Perform follow up to inquiries regarding patient accounts
- Communicate with insurance providers, patients, and internal departments to address inquiries and discrepancies.
