Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable and receivable data.
- Perform bank reconciliations and track bank deposits to ensure accurate financial reporting and cash flow management.
- Handle the accurate and timely entry of checks and prepare financial records and statements for audits.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Support the finance team in meeting billing and collection timelines.
- Maintain financial security by adhering to internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
- Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding sector rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques, and performance standards.
Skills
- Accounts Payable (3 years of experience is preferred)
- Accounts Receivable (3 years of experience is preferred)
- Reconciliation (3 years of experience is required)
- Invoices
- Coding/Batching
- General Accounting and Finance Skills (3 years of experience is required)
