A Data Entry Clerk is responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate records in a company’s database or system. They ensure the integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information while handling large volumes of data efficiently. The role requires attention to detail, fast and accurate typing skills, and proficiency in data management software. This is a full time position in Ronkonkoma!

Responsibilities

• Enter and update customer, financial, or product information into databases or spreadsheets
• Verify accuracy and completeness of data before inputting it into systems
• Maintain electronic and physical records following company policies and confidentiality regulations
• Review and correct errors or inconsistencies in data entries
• Organize and maintain filing systems for easy retrieval of information
• Generate reports, summaries, and presentations based on entered data
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate data processing
• Respond to data-related inquiries and retrieve requested information efficiently
