Responsibilities
- Strategic Team Leadership: Guide and empower the VIM&A team, fostering a culture of excellence and ensuring alignment with company values and policies.
- Financial Accuracy and Timeliness: Guarantee the precision and promptness of vendor payments, diligently applying payment terms and maximizing available discounts.
- Control and Optimization: Implement and maintain robust financial controls, driving continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Talent Development and Performance Management: Cultivate a high-performing team by providing effective coaching, targeted training, and strategic resource planning.
- Month-End Close Oversight: Direct the timely and accurate completion of month-end close activities, ensuring proper accounting treatment and adherence to deadlines.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various departments to achieve strategic objectives and facilitate seamless operational workflows.
- Project Management and Task Delegation: Spearhead special projects, strategically delegating tasks to optimize team performance and ensure successful completion.
- Regulatory Compliance and Reporting: Uphold compliance with all relevant information reporting requirements, including 1099s and 1042s, and ensure accurate data interpretation.
