The Accounts Receivable (AR) Collections Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s accounts receivable portfolio. This role involves ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, resolving payment discrepancies, and maintaining positive relationships with clients. The specialist will work closely with the finance and sales teams to optimize cash flow and reduce delinquent accounts. This is a month assignment located in Bohemia!

Responsibilities

• Generate and distribute invoices to clients in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy in billing details.
• Proactively contact customers via phone, email, and mail to follow up on past-due invoices and secure payments.
• Investigate and resolve billing disputes, discrepancies, and deductions by coordinating with internal departments and clients.
• Record and apply payments accurately to customer accounts, ensuring proper reconciliation.
•  Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to identify overdue accounts and take necessary actions.
• Maintain updated records of customer interactions, payment commitments, and credit terms.
• Ensure all collection activities comply with company policies, contractual obligations, and legal regulations.
• Identify high-risk accounts, recommend escalations, and collaborate with legal teams on collection efforts if necessary.
• Suggest and implement improvements to collection strategies and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce bad debt.
