We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Apartment Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of a multi-unit residential property. This role involves managing tenant relations, handling financial responsibilities, overseeing maintenance, and ensuring compliance with local housing laws. The ideal candidate is a communicator, highly organized, and committed to delivering an exceptional living experience for residents.

salary: $24 - $30 per hour

Responsibilities

Property Operations & Maintenance:

• Oversee the upkeep of the apartment complex, including common areas, landscaping, and amenities.
• Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance, repairs, and emergency response.
• Work with contractors and vendors to ensure quality service and cost-effective solutions.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.

Tenant Relations & Leasing:

• Market and advertise vacant units through online listings, social media, and local networks.
• Screen prospective tenants, conduct background checks, and execute lease agreements.
• Address tenant inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and in a timely manner.
• Manage lease renewals, rent increases, and enforce lease terms and community policies.
• Conduct move-in and move-out inspections and coordinate security deposit returns.

Financial Management:

• Collect rent, security deposits, and other fees; enforce timely payment policies.
• Prepare and manage the property’s budget, ensuring profitability and cost efficiency.
• Track and report income, expenses, and financial performance to ownership.
• Negotiate vendor contracts and oversee cost control measures.
