Responsibilities
- Vendor Identification: Research and identify potential vendors and subcontractors for various construction trades and services.
- Vendor Evaluation: Conduct thorough evaluations of vendor qualifications, including references, certifications, and past performance.
- Request for Proposals (RFPs): Prepare and distribute RFPs to selected vendors, ensuring all project specifications are clearly communicated.
- Contract Negotiation: Assist in negotiating contracts with vendors to ensure favorable terms and compliance with project budgets.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers to align vendor capabilities with project requirements and timelines.
- Communication: Maintain clear communication with vendors, clients, and internal teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Documentation: Manage and organize all vendor-related documentation, including contracts, proposals, and performance records.
- Problem Solving: Address any issues that arise with vendors or during project execution, working collaboratively to find solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance vendor selection and project coordination processes.
