Responsibilities
- Document Preparation & Management: Draft, proofread, and finalize legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, correspondence, and reports.
- File & Records Maintenance: Organize and maintain electronic and physical case files, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Scheduling & Calendar Management: Coordinate meetings, court dates, depositions, and deadlines for attorneys.
- Client Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, handling inquiries and providing updates.
- Legal Research & Case Support: Conduct basic legal research and assist attorneys in preparing case materials.
- Billing & Invoicing: Track billable hours, process invoices, and manage expense reports.
- Correspondence & Communication: Draft professional emails, letters, and other communications.
- Office Administration: Assist with ordering office supplies, organizing files, and maintaining confidentiality protocols.
- Court Filings & Legal Procedures: Prepare and file legal documents with courts and agencies, ensuring compliance with deadlines.
