AML Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Bank's Anti-Money Laundering compliance program. This position will involve reviewing and analyzing customer transactions, identifying potential suspicious activity, and assisting in the preparation of regulatory reports. The ideal candidate will have an interest in financial crime prevention and a desire to build a career in Anti-Money Laudering compliance.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze customer transactions and account activity to identify potential suspicious activity and ensure compliance with AML/KYC regulations.
• Conduct initial investigations and research on alerts generated by transaction monitoring systems and other sources.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and other regulatory filings.
• Perform customer due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (EDD) reviews.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of investigations and reviews.
• Assist in the development and implementation of AML policies and procedures.
• Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and industry best practices related to AML compliance.
• Collaborate with other members of the AML team and other departments to ensure effective compliance.
• Assist in the response to internal and external audits and regulatory inquiries.
• Participate in training programs to enhance knowledge of AML regulations and best practices.
