Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly talented and enthusiastic biologist with interest in plant physiology, cell culture, in vitro
assays, molecular biology, controlled environment and greenhouse management.
Applicants should have a degree in Plant Biology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry or other related field with 3+ years plant care, research, or laboratory experience.
Candidates with Bachelor’s or Master’s degree are desired.
Candidate will support operations (design and execution of experiments) in the laboratory such as media preparation, in vitro cultures and transfers, data analysis, and plant production. Additionally, candidate will help with plant growth and maintenance in growth chamber and greenhouses.
Candidate should have experience in aseptic technique and tissue culture.
Additional Desired Skills/Experience:
• Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office, Excel, database, data analysis software and
bioinformatics tools.
• Attention to details, solid experimental design, data analysis and interpretation skills, solid ability to work in
a team setting, and excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
