As a Customer Service Representative, you’ll be the go-to person for helping our customers troubleshoot issues and protect their Whirlpool appliances or with extended service plans. You'll work directly with customers explaining the benefits and value of our coverage options, ensuring they feel confident and supported in their decisions.
What you bring to the table:
- A friendly and approachable attitude that builds customer trust
- An ability to negotiate and diffuse escalated consumer interactions by demonstrating soft skills and issue ownership
- Sales experience (preferably, but if you’re a natural talker and an objective thinker, we’re game to train you)
- Active listening and patience while working with frustrated or confused customers, especially if the issue is complicated
- A great phone presence and the ability to confidently explain and sell products, turning “I don’t know” into “Wow, that’s a great deal!”
- Great computer skills - you’re a multi-screen, multi-system navigational expert

Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls from curious folks who want to make sure they’re covered for the long haul or are looking to resolve an appliance-related issue
- Offer troubleshooting assistance to customers experiencing appliance difficulties
- Build relationships with customers and ensure they understand the value of the extra protection while explaining the value of the service plans and answering any questions customers may have
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be available to work a 40-hour schedule
- High School Diploma/GED
- Intermediate computer skills
- At least 1 year of customer service experience
- Functioning smartphone for multi-factor authentication
