A client of ours located in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join thier team.  This position is responsible for generating new business opportunities by reaching out to potential clients through outbound cold calls. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to engage with prospects, overcome objections, and drive sales by effectively introducing products or services. This role is key in building the initial sales pipeline and contributing to the overall growth of the company.  This position is a full-time permanent opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

salary: $40,000 - $45,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Outbound Cold Calling: Initiate cold calls to potential customers from provided lists or research to introduce company products or services.
• Lead Qualification: Qualify leads by asking insightful questions to determine if they are a good fit for the company’s offerings.
• Sales Pitching: Deliver persuasive sales presentations over the phone to engage and excite prospects about the value of the company’s products or services.
• Appointment Setting: Schedule appointments for the sales team with qualified leads to take the sales process further.
• Relationship Building: Build rapport with prospects to establish trust and develop long-term business relationships.
• Overcoming Objections: Address objections, answer questions, and handle resistance effectively to keep prospects engaged.
• Follow-Up: Follow up with leads through calls or emails to maintain communication, track interest, and ensure leads are not lost.
• CRM Management: Update and maintain lead information and sales activities in the CRM system to track progress and performance.
