Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the transition of core customer collections and portal-based collections to the corporate team.
- Manage the collections process for all core customers and clients utilizing portal systems for payments.
- Utilize insights gained from collections activities to identify opportunities for process improvements, aiming to streamline and align collection workflows across the organization.
- Work towards achieving a target Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) of 35 business days.
- Support the optimization of financial transactions and systems, including the reconciliation of payments and customer accounts as required.
- Foster and strengthen client relationships by addressing overdue accounts and maintaining clear communication.
- Identify areas for improvement within the accounts receivable process to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate accounts receivable records, ensuring timely updates on aging, application of credits and collections, and resolution of uncollectible amounts and discrepancies for assigned accounts.
- Proactively monitor and collect overdue accounts through various communication methods including phone, email, and mail.
- Prepare analytical reports and performance metrics related to A/R to help management assess the effectiveness of collection efforts.
- Collaborate with the broader accounting and finance teams, inventory management, and cost accounting departments as needed.
