We're looking for a Purchasing Specialist to play a vital role in optimizing our supply chain, managing vendor partnerships, and ensuring seamless inventory operations. In this role, you'll also serve as a backup for the Inside Sales team, assisting with customer orders and inquiries. Responsibilities
- Procurement & Sourcing: Identify suppliers, negotiate contracts, and place orders.
- Strategic Purchasing: Develop cost-effective procurement strategies while maintaining quality.
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends to optimize purchasing decisions.
- Vendor Management: Build strong supplier relationships for reliable service.
- Compliance & Quality: Ensure purchases align with company policies.
- Inventory Control: Track stock, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels.
- Audits & Accuracy: Conduct inventory audits and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaboration: Work with sales, customer service, and logistics for seamless operations.
- Supplier Communication: Resolve issues related to delivery, pricing, and quality.
- Reporting & Analysis: Generate reports to support data-driven decisions.
- Policies & Procedures: Maintain clear purchasing and inventory control guidelines.
- Inside Sales Support: Assist with customer orders, quotes, and inquiries as needed.
