Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the scheduling and dispatching of trucking vendors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding equipment spotting and pickups.
- Develop and distribute daily work schedules through the system.
- Maintain accurate records, including booking sheets, driver schedules, and equipment usage logs.
- Manage equipment allocation, including container pools, depot operations, and designated pickup locations.
- Track and assign inbound loads and long-distance hauls based on seniority.
- Verify transportation charges for accuracy, including fees for waiting time, extra stops, and applicable tariffs.
- Monitor and reconcile overdue equipment reports.
- Input and update trucking and booking details within the system.
- Be available for on-call support 24/7, including weekends.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
